Update!

The past few weeks have been super busy around here! School starts next week and I have trunkshows all weekend for Rags Land! Now updates on the boys- Jaxson is now walking everywhere! He would rather crawl, since he is so fast, but he can walk across the living room and back, stand up, fall down, then get back up and start walking! He is too cute! Brantley and Jaxson both had dentist appointments this week. Brantley hated the dentist when we lived in MS due to an accident there that led to several other doctors appointments by specialist in Birmingham- so we changed dentist to one here in Bham and Brantley now loves it! Jaxson had his first appointment, now that he has 7 teeth, I thought it was time! He loved the dentist! He just kept watching the fish in the huge aquarium next to the dental chair. Back to Brantley- he starts first grade this year!!! I cant believe it! He is also going to take Spanish after school and soccer starts soon, then baseball and basketball- whew! Maybe everything around here will slow down soon! I will post pictures soon!

Our family is growing again!

NO, NOT BY US! By, TK's sister, Brandi and her husband Sam. They found out yesterday that they are expecting a little girl! Brandi is due in November. Little baby "Shober"-(last name) does not have a name yet, but Brandi really likes the name Stella. I will keep everyone updated for the next several months- for she does not have a blog, but Aunt Haley will have to change that! Congratulations Brandi and Sam!!!

One of my great college friends, who I dont get to see enough of, is expecting!!!! You can check out her blog here! She now lives in Texas and I miss her so much! She had the most beautiful wedding 3 years ago at Seaside,FL and shortly moved to Texas. She has the dream job!!! Check out her blog to see! In the picture above Crystal has on the cute pink jacket. This is one girl that shops at much as I do so I know this baby will be in baby couture all the way! Congratulations!!!! *(Notice the picture was taken at one of our Engagement parties- almost 5 years ago, maybe if I increase my workouts to 6 miles a day I can look like that again soon! haha:)

11 months old!

Can you believe it? We are planning his first birthday already! It is sad! My baby is growing up! He loves to play baseball. He crawls around with it and when he sees TK, he throws it to him, and I must say, he can throw hard for an 11 month old! He is just precious and he loves to give kisses and wave bye bye! He is moving great and is very close to walking. He is growing too fast!!! The next month we post will be from his birthday party!

Beach Pictures are fun! This was not planned, but they all had on white and denim so we headed to the beach before dusk for pictures. I think they turned out great, but look what I was working with!

We have been going to Destin Commons the past 2 night. The kids love it! We do too! Lots of shopping, sweet treats and great activities for the kids. Everyone from Jaxson, to Isabella and Landry, to Brantley and Hunter, Cooper and Lauren,Tyler and Adrian. We are having so much fun all being together for the week!

Our Resort/Condo

We are having so much fun here! This is great! Usually beach vacations can be a lot of work with 2 kids, but this resort has made it so simple! We are staying at the Emerald Grande at Harbor Walk. It is very nice, just opened so it is not crowded at all. All the shops are being finished now- so next year, this place will be even more awesome! I highly recommend this place! Check it out here!

Casting Crowns - American Dream

A few weeks ago we talked about this in Sunday School- listen to the words carefully, this really spoke to me. TK bought me this CD for my birthday- the Casting Crowns Live CD and I have to say I Love It!

Why is it so hard?

Losing weight!- What 99% of women, worry about and think about daily. If you know me, you know that I am a nurse in an eating disorder treatment center, I love my girls- but I hate this 20 lbs of post baby fat too! Kinda hard to diet in the position I am in. So, this week I joined this gym. Love it! I have been everyday since Monday for atleast 1 hour. (Jax has done great too! He suffers from a little bit of seperation anxiety) Anyways, I need to work my arms and stomach- I dont want to pay a personal trainer right now- due to vacation funds! Who in the blogging world can give me advice on working my arms really good and stomach- (notice I didnt say abs). Any advice would be great! Maybe I will post before and after pics after I lose a few extra pounds first!

Last Minute Vaca!

For those of you who know us., we love family and we love to travel! In July we are taking a family cruise with TK's parents, but that seems too far off! This past week TK's mom calls us and ask us about going to the beach in a few days. We cant wait! We are meeting TK's uncle and cousins there too! We are so pumped up! Has anyone ever stayed here? It is a new resort, but looks awesome for kids! Last minute trips are always the best!

10 months old!

This year Brantley had the best teacher! She is awesome! We are going to miss Ms. Burk! Brantley loved her!!! Brantley told me that he looks forward to going to the Library next year- since her room is right across the hall. we are going to miss her so much! She taught the children so much this year!

Kindergarten Fun Day

Brantley had a fun day at school the last week. He had so much fun! He is going to miss all of his friends this summer!

Baby Dedication

On Mother's Day, we had Jaxson's baby dedication service. It was very sweet, and the slide show made me realize how fast he is growing up! The cookies in the pictures were done by Shannon Willcutt, they were the best cookies we have ever eaten- not how to mention adorable they were!

Where did the time go?

I can't believe that today, I will go to Brantley's school for his last kindergarten day and party! I am noe the mother of a first grader! It seems like yesterday I was preparing all of his kindergarten things and making sure we had everything perfect for his first day of school. It also seems like yesterday he went to the pumpkin patch and Christmas tree farm. I am getting upset even typing this! Brantley has learned so much this year and I know that he is going to miss Ms.Burk! She is truely doing what the Lord has called her to do! She is awesome! Although I am sad about today being the lst day of K5, I am blessed to have such a wonderful son! He is precious! For all of you that know Brantley- he is the most kind hearted child there is! He is so sweet and joyful! He is also the best big brother and Jaxson and I are so excited he will be home with us all day the summer!

Hi to all of you~
I am asking prayer from each of you for the Chapman's~ I'm sure many of you have heard of Stephen Curtis Chapman, a few years ago, while living in Nashville, David,my husband, had the honor of flying this sweet family back in forth to complete paperwork in order to adopt this sweet little girl from China, her name was Maria, the paperwork which David flew them for was completed here in the states, anyway, David was on the plane the day that this sweet little girl became a permanant part of their family, this at a time, when we ourselves so desperately wanted children, so I remember all too well, the described excitement that David encountered, today, Maria was killed in Nashville by the Chapman's SUV~ it appears to be a complete accident, but Stephen's older biological son was driving in their driveway. Please pray for this sweet family, if you have ever heard the song Cinderella, Stephen wrote that and he also performs it~ it is a fairly new song. I am once again reminded that Life is short and I pray that we all know Jesus a bit better in this moment than you did 60 seconds ago.

We are still alive!

Sorry that I have not posted in several days. This is Brantley's last week of school and we have been busy with parties, baseball, end of the year treats, etc. Jaxson also has his first cold and an ear infection- the left ear. He was blessed with that from his daddy. I myself have never had ear trouble and Brantley to this day has never had an ear infection, so this is all new to me- well sorda- I was an ENT nurse for 3 years and always had to give advice over the phone to moms and dads with their screaming child in the background, but it is all new and different when it is your child! And this is a must have!!!
