Fun day at The Zoo!

Monday we went to the zoo. We have season passes so sorry there is not any pictures of the animals- just my little monkeys! The carousel goes backwards for the month of October because of Boo at the Zoo. Hopefully we will be going this weekend!

Prayers Needed!

Please pray for Brandi and Baby Stella! Brandi is having contractions already and is now on bedrest. Stella is not ready to make her debut yet- so please keep them in your prayers!

Soccer Time!

That is right, I am a soccer mom! Brantley loves this sport! He is super busy this fall! Go #7!

Tailgating Fun!

Nothing keeps sweet little boys happier during a long tailgate than a long wagon ride. This wagon was actually Brantley's when he was a baby! Jaxson loves being outside and especially loves the wagon. The wagon is also a lifesaver during football season carrying things to the quad!

Swim Team Updates!

We are now on to the backstroke and doing relays! Brantley is really catching on quick and doing really well! We will possibly sign him up for his first meet after the beginning of the year! He practices 2 days a week and is learning so much! His coaches are awesome and he loves his team!

Wish We Were There!

Does this not look like a postcard? I took this picture on the shore in St. Maarten in July. No worries, just beautiful beaches, beautiful water and fabulous shopping! How I wish we could just stay there! No election madness, mortgage crisis or gas shortages- just plain worry free!!! Since our 401K is not what it used to be- it may be a few extra years until we can actually retire here- if you know what I mean! Sorry TK! Anyways- one day! We can always dream and go back to our "happy" place!

Huge game! Cant wait for this one! I will be watching from work hopefully! This is my weekend to work and I cant stand that I might miss this game. I am one sassy, high maintenance girl that loves football! Yes, my husband graduated from MSU but, I think he is eventually becoming an Alabama fan!

SNL

Did you see SNL on Saturday night? I haven't seen it in years, until Saturday! I remember staying up every Saturday night when I was in high school watching this and staying over at my friend Jessyca's to watch it, so we could laugh together. Good Times! Here are a few pictures from the show- you have to go and watch it! It was hilarious! Kinda scary too how Tina Fey looks and sounds like Sarah Palin! oh yeah- Michael Phelps hosted too! He said " it was his 9th greatest moment". Ha!

Football Season is Here!

The New 90210

So, what do you think? Not, the same ole 90210! The whole Kelly, Donna, David, Dylan, Brandon and Steve cant be forgotten! This new series is okay- it may grow on me, but I was kinda upset when they used just about the same storyline as the old 90210, at the start, but quickly moved away from it. I do look forward to future episodes though- it kinda reminds me of The O.C. which I miss!!!

* I really dont watch too much TV, I usually TiVo all this and watch when I get a chance or I stream it on my computer from the networks website while at work or wherever when I get a chance. I have tons to do with 2 little boys- these shows just make me still feel young!

One Tree Hill = AWESOME!

If you do not watch this show, you are missing out! It makes Mondays so much better! I am so excited that it was Peyton at the airport- I got chills when she was the one in the crowd at the airport! If you missed it- you can go to cwtv.com/onetreehill and watch it!

BIG Boy Bed

Yes, we have a climber! He would not stay in his baby bed, so we changed his bed into a toddler bed. Doesn't he look sweet sleeping!

Next Michael Phelps?

We wish! Brantley had tryouts last week for the Hoover Blue Thunder Swim Team. He will start swimming every week and hopefully be ready for a meet in the Spring! He loves it! He keeps asking me when the next practice is! This is such a good exercise and sport- no injuries- but Brantley is accident prone so I am sure he will find a way! I will keep you updates on our little "fish"!

Jaxson meeting his MDO teacher for the first time!

On Thursday, we had meet the teacher day for Mother's Day Out. He will be going two mornings a week. He has never gone to daycare or anything before (other than church and the gym) so this is new for him and me! Now I will actually be able to clean the house all at once or go to the grocery store alone! Ha! I am not complaining- I love my little man very much and we are so blessed to have him. He is such a joy- I know that I am going to miss him on these mornings!!!!

Happy Birthday TK!

Yes! this post is 2 days late! We have been super busy celebrating and in and out of doctor's offices all week (or atleast me). TK turned 29 on Thursday and we met family for dinner in Tuscaloosa at Cypress Inn- one of our favorite places there. Tuscaloosa is half way to our hometown from here, so it is easy to meet up and only drive about 50 minutes versus 1:45 minutes each way.

Anyways, about TK- he celebrates 29 wonderful years, he is still the same ole sweet TK and just as handsome as ever. TK is such a special person and I just love him so much! I know that I can get very upset with him, like around 9pm each night when he is watching Larry King and I am running around like crazy getting ready for work- but he is such a SUPER DAD and a LOVING HUSBAND and a GREAT SON! We are all blessed to have him in our lives and he just makes each moment more special!

For his birthday one thing that I got him was BIG RUSS AND ME by Tim Russert- such a great man and a great book too! Great books for dads!

As one of my favorite sayings-

Any Man can be a Father but it takes a special person to be a Dad!

I love you TK and thank you for all that you do for the boys and me! We are so blessed to have you! We love you!

Brantley is now a first grader!

My baby is getting big! He is now in the first grade and he loves it! We are blessed with such wonderful school systems here! These pictures were taken on his first day, before he caught the bus. Traffic is so bad here, just about all the kids in our neighborhood ride. There is just one bus for kindergarteners- second grade, just for our neighborhood, so that should tell you how many kids live in this subdivision!

Last Days of Summer Break

Last week we were anxious for school to start back, running many errands and such. But we still made time to hit the pool a few last times!

Lauren, TK's sister is a senior this year! It is so hard to believe! She is such a beautiful girl, but she is even sweeter! We hope you have a wonderful senior year LaLa! You really cant tell in this picture, but Jaxson loves her! He follows her everywhere when she is around and always wants her to hold him!

I love this time of year! 2 simple things that I cannot wait for-

The Hills next week! And you know how obsessed I am with One Tree Hill-I cant wait to see who Lucas actually called! Is it Brooke, Peyton, or Lindsey? I am thinking Brooke- but we will see! I even have to watch OTH reruns on SoapNet along with reruns of The OC.

Another thing that I am looking forward to is 90210- now I know the new cast cant top the old one- but maybe it will be worth watching!

Last, lets not forget about a new season of The View- I watch this everyday at the gym- I just love love Elisabeth!!!! Great woman for politics, smart, and beauty!

Well, the 2008 rodeo season has come to an end and the 2009 season will start Aug.16th. The girls have made it back from their 2300+ mile trip and made it back with a lot of Gold and Silver. Skylar has come home with 5 buckles and also with 5th place in the WORLD. NOt too bad for a 8yr old Mississippi girl. There were cowboys and cowgirls from all over the nation there. She was the only person from the Southeast to come home with any awards. Although from watching the videos they all did great. Thanks for asking about them while they were gone. I think this week she'll be here carrying the AMERICAN FLAG at the Ralph Morgan Rodeo in Lauderdale,Ms Friday night. If you have Dish-Network, the finals will be on RFDTV(231) next week.
