Yesterday, Santa made his grand entrance into our neighborhood grocery store on a Fire Truck. Brantley thought this was so cool! Awesome as he put it. Then once Santa was inside, all the kids could take pictures with him. Brantley was very excited! Jaxson had no idea who this man was, or why he was there. Jax met Santa on Saturday, while we were in Nashville. He was more amazed by the flashing red lights above instead of St. Nick. These are the pics from yesterday and I will scan in his pics from Saturday later!

16 weeks old!
Time has flown by! Jaxson is now 16 weeks old. Doing great! We go for his check up on the 19th- with shots. Poor Baby! T.K. got his flu shot yesterday, and I am waiting until Saturday so I will have a babysitter. I dont want to take Jax into a doctors office this time of year. (the mom/nurse in me) Jax is doing great sleeping about 9-10 hours at night and 2 long naps in the daytime. Wearing size 2 diapers and 6 months in clothes. We are going thru clothes like crazy!!! Kinda sad! He is still on Mommy's milk every 2-3 hours. We had to call our lactation consultant last week, because Jax was demanding so much. Of all things she told me to drink Lemon-Lime gatorade and eat oatmeal and homemade oatmeal cookies. Crazy- but it worked!!!! (great tip for all you new moms!) This weekend we are taking a road trip to Nashville for a wedding. Just a short day trip. My friend Jessyca is getting married in a chapel there. So Jaxson will have his first road trip to Nashville with Mommy alone. We checked into flying, but too much work (rental car, baby stuff, etc.) So this should be fun!!!! Brantley is adjusting very well, and now he is having even more fun since Jaxson is laughing back at him. Watching those two just melts me!

The Night at The Museum
TK and Brantley went to The McWane Center on Saturday for a camp in. They had a blast! First, they watched the movie on Imax, then they had midnight snacks, when the lights were turned out, here came the cowboys, indians, and the bones came alive! They had such a great time!
Late Show
Those of you who know TK well, knows that he loves New York. When he was growing up his parents had a dept. store, so they went to market every season for several days. He grew up loving "The City" and he loves David Letterman. He has been to the taping of the show several times at Ed Sullivan Theater- so when he ordered these shirts, I had to post a picture of the boys! Maybe we can take a trip to NYC in the Spring! So what about it Katie, Lu and Nash? Are you up for a trip?
Blogger Vaca is over!
Where do I start? I have so many things I want to post from the past few weeks, so I am going to post them all. Sorry to all of our family/friends who have been waiting!

Brantley News
Brantley is so funny, I just had to post this! He is very protective of his little brother. Tonight I was getting Jax ready for his bath, and I told Brantley to look how fat he is- while hugging and kissing on Jaxson- He looked at me with a serious look and said "don't say that in front of him mommy!!!" He was scared I would hurt his feelings! He is so sweet.
Another funny saying from today-After school Brantley, Jaxson and I were taking dinner to a girl in my Sunday School class who just had a baby, and I was asking Brant all about his day. I asked him all about school. He then informed me that it was Red Ribbon Week (Drug Free) at school. He then told me that everyone should say no to that "Broccoli looking stuff in a bag" because he was when he got older! I thought I was going to wreck on I-65 when he told me that. I am so glad and thankful that he is learning all of this at school. We teach him all the time how bad smoking is, but never once thought to teach him about the "broccoli".

Brantley's World
Today, Brantley, Jaxson and I woke up and went to get breakfast, go to Wal-mart, Target- normal Saturday. This was T.K.'s Saturday to work, so we were bummed! I wanted to have lunch ready for him when he got home, so we hurried and made it happen. When we were sitting at the table, Brantley said "this sure is good, can you go online and order some more of this food?" Looking at T.K. and about to laugh, I said "what makes you think I got this online?" He said- "It's just really good so I want you to order some more for next week." He was too cute, so I wanted to post this.
He is growing up way too fast! Jaxson is too, but Brantley has really come out of his shell lately! He is into High School Musical these days, so we have to listen to it every morning on the way to school. Then, I have it in my head all day long. Brantley is also playing baseball- and loves it. We usually play soccer this time of year, but wanted a change. He is great in soccer (sorry, there I go bragging again) but, he wanted to play baseball. He is doing good-he fields great, he hits great, just needs to run faster. (the slowness comes from me!)
I went to Brantley's school on Thursday for Parent's Day and Friday for lunch. He was so excited! I love the look on his face these days when he is excited! Having two children is very hard, but such a joy! I love every minute of it, and I think that their age between each other is perfect!!! Brantley just loves on Jaxson all the time. He is such a great BIG Brother! I just had to brag on him!!!

Life in the Magic City
Well, Our new computer is finally here. Having to catch up on ebay and checking email!!! We are doing great! Jax is now almost 12 weeks old and Brantley is great! Brantley is playing fall baseball and we are very busy with practice and games this week. Brantley hit 1 double and a single tonight. Yea!!!! He did great. He is playing Coach Pitch and it is nothing like it was when we were 5! They are really serious here!!!! Kinda like New Hope Baseball for 5 year olds. (for those of you from Columbus) We are having fun! I will have to post pics from the Pumpkin Patch of our little pumpkins soon!!! Tomorrow, you can just call me Britney Spears. I have to go to court for my first ever speeding ticket! I know that is so hard for some of you to believe, but my first ever. So I have to go to court at 4 to ask if I can go to driving school! I was going 34 in a 20. I wish I could have atleast been going 85 in a 70 to sound a lot cooler! Anyways, when I got the ticket the cop was very mean, and Jaxson was screaming in the back and it was right in my neighborhood, the part where no houses are. So tomorrow I have my court date and I have to take my 2 kids with me, because TK will be in a meeting and no family here!!! TK's dad left for Afghanistan this weekend, so we wont hear from him for a while. Kinda sad, TK has been down a little! That is a small update from the Wood fam. I will update tomorrow after court!!!!

Computer Crasher
Our computer crashed today and we have a horrible virus. We were told this one was beyond repair so we ordered a new one. So, I will not be posting until I get the new one in. I talked the saleswoman into next day air for free, but they still have to build it. Everyone is great, Jax is 11 weeks today! Our friend Kim Saxon Bingham (from Starkville, but lives in Bham now) had her baby Monday! It is a girl, she weighed 7 lbs. Mom and baby are doing great!!! We visited her in the hospital today, and had lunch with Daddy!!! Hopefully my computer will be in soon!!!
